Semana Santa - travel time
It's semana santa - Holy Week and because people in Loma not work there, I used the time to tell me the country to behold a little.
I did at the Lagunas de Montebello - a series of crystal-clear Seen in a national park. Very nice. Ca. at noon it cleared up and at one of the lakes, on Pojoj I jumped into the water and captured the island in the middle of the lake.
It was fabulous - swimming in crystal water, where you can see even without goggles the ground.
I stayed at one of the lakes. In the evening, everything was totally obscured, you could see nothing of the lake. The next morning, pure sunshine, and I remained until noon, bathing and basking. I have been to two museums, have marimba music heard and bought a bunch of nice things.
My boots are now again healing - both in the same place, the seam was worked out. The very likeable young shoemaker, I finally found after 1.5 hours of intensive search mending them to me for 1 €.
Each day brings new, interesting and fulfilling encounters. I am happy to travel back a bit.
