We went to Mexico City. Our flight was only at night, so we could us a little contemplation of the city. We went to the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where there is also the excavations of the ancient market square.
Very interesting - a gigantic excavation site in the middle of the city.
The subway riding is quite OK. Then
's it again time to drive to the airport and finally take leave of Mexico. Hopefully
only fürkurze time ...;-)

birthday celebration in Morelia
On May 19 I arrived back to Morelia and had to do the same hands full, to organize my birthday and farewell party.
This was then held in the house of Ilyas and I was so happy all my friends from Istitut again see me and say goodbye to. Me singing "Las Mananitas," "the little morning" which is her birthday song and I absolutely must learn, it's really beautiful.
There was too much beer and I was simply with the people of the refrigerator of the residential community not to overload.

We looked briefly into the city and found the very end of another hat shop where I bought my then 3 hats - as well as she liked me and so were all the cheap here.
When Susanna then we packed almost all night and next morning we took a taxi to the bus station.

Overnight we drove from Palenque to Tuxtla Gutierrez, not without have previously purchased a super hammock in Palenque. In Tuxtla
lives the family of Susanna, the beloved PhD student, who had lent me her room, when I came to Morelia.
We visited their mother and she gave us great sandwiches (she has a restaurant on the market) and then took us to the Colectivo, with which we could go to the zoo - that was our plan for the day, unfortunately we had not much more time for us to look at other things.
But - the zoo really pays off!
We had to happiness - today was free admission.
Tuxtla Zoo is interesting, because there can only be seen animals are that there are actually in the rainforest in the wild.
The zoo is thus directly in the rain forest, there are just the areas, even quite large, fenced, concrete ways and in between.

Palenque and Aguas Azules
In Palenque we stayed 2 days. One we spent at the ruins, the great Mayan city. There was already a sophisticated sewage system and a steam room. The most famous temple is no longer climb - for renovation of need due to severe Turistenansturmes, but the looks from a distance of still very impressive. The coffin with 5-ton cover plate, we could then visit the museum yet. There, the air conditioning was on, which we were very comfortable. The
Plalast and the other temples were also very nice to behold. Everywhere there is this figure carved in stone reliefs and Mayan hieroglyphics. And all over the green meadows, the leather goods and other Turistenkram selling dealer.
The second day I went to Aguas Azules, a natural beauty - a beautiful river valley with turquoise blue water pools in the middle of tropical forest.
The terrain is very well developed - almost a highway where to go and consequently many people are there on nice days.

From the Pacific beach, we drove towards Comitán, where we indulged in a day trip to the Cascada del Chiflón - a lovely walk past the turquoise blue water pools and a huge waterfall. "Velo de novia" - so named Bridal Veil, this very suit. Here we made an adrenaline rush - Tirolean is called there, sitting on a slide wire in a harness over the falls - a lot could umschaun you are not as fast as wars over - but the adrenaline was executed with super skin ... I just came back from Barra de Zacapulco. Three days at the beach and Pacific beach on the other side of the same mangrove forest. Very between. We even newly hatched Babyschildkroeten (soooo cute!) Released into the sea. The sand here is black and is incredibly hot in the sun. If even a little something turned brown.

Then we had to move quickly into a Alkoholflaeschchen, with tweezers, or by blowing out the piece of branch like a straw. The work is now complete in Morlia - All measured and prepared for the trip to Austria. Yesterday morning I had
Sebastian airport in Mexico City, DF picked up and we have together spent a day there. More specifically, in a very large park, the Chapultepec, where we have looked at including the Botanical Garden and the zoo and ate brown bread, bacon and goat cheese on a park bench with the highest pleasure. At 21h then the plane went to Tapachula - and here we are now. Today we begin our search for the Finca Irlanda, a cafe finca where we want to stay a little more than a week.

I've been over a week in Morelia. Most of the time I work on my sample. Weighing, volume determination, drying, weigh again. I am so happy with my MP3 player!
Yes, and that the whole work-day. At the weekend I moved into a showcase house for eco-social housing and a community garden project.
6 people, a house: the washing water is used for casting trees and bananas (which bear the supposedly good), the shower water - obtained Vadas what the fast forward and wait for the warm water - is collected in a Lavor and for using the toilet flush. There is a composter and a worm farm and a lot of fun herbs and vegetables in the garden and chickens they have. Every day of the week cooking, another for all and all vegetarian.

On Friday I was at a concert Scar (also called SKA). Panteon Rococo - sooo funny!

;-) We have taken every 5 days to complete the remaining samples and sampling. Juhuuuu! For that I need but now away from here. Yes, no river, no more rain forest, not a turtle - not even jaguars, tarantulas, and scorpions. And the dear family, where I have lived next door and people from the village, which I knew to go, I already emerging.
am Yesterday I landed here in Morelia. After 1.5 days I was happy bus ride back a little . Walk around
The Institute is very nice, the building is very new and the people I like're all very much.
I live in the apartment of a PhD student here. She is now a week somewhere else and so I simply leave their shared flat! Madness, this is a business!
Working here is something different: spin slowly at 11 people, then worked up to 3 to 4 and then enjoy a lunch until about 8 Chillig right then.
Let's see, already, how fast is the weighing and drying.

Semana Santa - travel time
It's semana santa - Holy Week and because people in Loma not work there, I used the time to tell me the country to behold a little.
I did at the Lagunas de Montebello - a series of crystal-clear Seen in a national park. Very nice. I have been to two museums, have marimba music heard and bought a bunch of nice things.
My boots are now again healing - both in the same place, the seam was worked out. The very likeable young shoemaker, I finally found after 1.5 hours of intensive search mending them to me for 1 €.
Each day brings new, interesting and fulfilling encounters. I am happy to travel back a bit.

We continue to work. 3 successful days in the jungle and made a bunch of samples - collected a bunch of stitches Gelsenkirchen, but so is the stop. And - Inundables are really ugly to work in it - nothing but thorns and spines and spines with ants in it and again thorns. We were in
Tzendales - sooo beautiful, a small creek with tons of iguanas, birds, beautiful Meanders with unspoiled vegetation.
And I've learned how to make tamales. Porridge mixed with various things - what we have made with chicken and tomato sauce - which is then steamed in banana leaves or wrapped Maisblaettern and corroborated. Very good for transporting and eat up the field.

In Mexico, after two days is not the end
I am this evening with my 3 crews in Comitán arrived. We will here to stay and continue to travel tomorrow to Chajul, where the research station and the forests are in demand.
I've been since 20.02. way and that is quite pure.
On Saturday, a 3-hour flight to Madrid, where we arrived at a very dear friend of Peter under Hietz for the night.
for the next day back to the airport and the plane Mexico DF. 12 hours flight. I have the book I have read almost have along.
Landing in Mexico City was very exciting. Only a few districts where the pilot is so nice angle and the gravity already feels and then the real landing.
It was an unusually clear day - not to haze Mexico City - and so you could see the city, and the many houses with gardens, without gardens, playgrounds, etc. exactly as they came closer and closer and were larger. In Mexico City, we then drove to the bus station and took Tapo there for a snack our bus to Tuxtla Gutierrez. Still only 12 hours of travel.
Yes - Takeaway: I got my first Mexican food in Mexico since eaten: Tostado de Pollo and no stomach ache, etc. . Get Jeah!

Uff, you sacred choral society, I thought I was pulling no large, extra shoes, but had not thought of it that have no profile at all! X___x And
arrived home there was the next self-inflicted slap in the face: Chaos! And this time it was not even my cat to blame, but small Yersinia herself who has searched desperately shortly before take-off at noon, a replacement for her black headdress (and yes, I am so I'm looking for a head dress in the fuse box! @ _ @ ).
So, and I still slip to Aldi and then to my friend (unless I can persuade him to come forth. ^ ^).

Soo, so now it's suddenly a decade later than yesterday. Funny that everything feels like it as always. But: the stroke of midnight's started snowing! If this is not a sign! : D (or is it snow industry through all the missiles and so -__-)
It is always interesting from whom you so everything gets SMS for the new year. Once the ex-boyfriends, which has written a very suggestive of (-> ignore), the other was relatively neutral (-> answer). And then a dear friend from Dresden, I have not seen for over a year and at least half a year had no contact with her. * Happy *
And of course, other friends, about which I'm very glad! *___*
And since last visit there was so I could start my New Year's project is not (Originally ACCESSIBLE I did over New Year all night to sew a new skirt). But I've now done something to it. But I think I'll take it easy and do not like much else at once. I have plenty of first time now. =)
