Cuzco and Machu Picchu
Yes - I have finally seen the symbol of Peru, too. Machu Picchu!
Although I have not visited the 4-day Inca trail on foot, because that would be expected from the time of non - also is terribly touristy and quite expensive. No - I am easily moved by train, but not from Cuzco but by Ollantaytambur - a small town in the Sacred Valley (Valle Sagrado) I stayed there one night and then the next morning on the train to Aguas Calientes (Hot water - there are thermal baths ) and from there the bus to Machu Picchu. The road is very good - like a forest road with us - so that you can very easily go up on foot. If I would have liked to, but time was too short again - I had only one day and the train times are inevitable. So I'm around my gymnastics four hours on top of the ruins. A great time, great weather and a breathtaking location.
Yes - today I am leaving Cuzco in the evening and then I returned to Lima - Preparation of the wedding ... am so excited.
